Responsibilities:

* Oversee and verify training of Stockroom staff to ensure that all team members are fully trained and competent in their roles while adhering to safety procedures.
* Act as a Safety Champion by leading safety initiatives, promoting a culture of safety, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed.
* Maintain control of all materials in and out of the Verpol spare parts and consumable inventories.
* Supervise the Stockroom/Receiving Department staff, delegate work assignments and responsibilities, and provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
* Enforce and adhere to all corporate, procurement, stockroom, and receiving policies and procedures.
* Provide daily support to plant and corporate Procurement and plant personnel as needed.
* Perform month-end and year-end closing inventories on chemicals, fuel, consumables, and media along with usage, and submit those reports to the Plant Controller within the requested time frame, which includes working on weekends and holidays when necessary. This requirement also involves maintaining a live spreadsheet from month to month.
* Perform the receiving function of all invoices for services as requested and oversee the receiving function on all daily delivered materials.
* Monitor chemical levels daily and initiate expediting or delaying of deliveries when necessary.
* Oversee weekly consumable replenishment and transfers as needed.
* Coordinate repair / return of equipment to suppliers for repair.
* Oversee MRO inventory located in remote locations such as the 5-bay garage, pilot plant, storage trailers and East plant and oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
* Oversee weekly cycle counts so that (2) complete inventories are performed on an annual basis.
* Maintain an organized, clean and safe stockroom / receiving facility.
* Maintain accurate files on all delivered goods and received services.
* Support all plant safety policy, procedures and initiatives.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or related Maintenance/Purchasing disciplines and a minimum of two years' experience in Warehousing or five years of equivalent work experience including supervision of purchasing or materials management functions.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
