Description
The Sales Director at Tithof Tile and Marble is responsible for overseeing the Sales/Estimating Department.
He or she is to lead the department to its company sales and profitability goals through guidance in account management, accurate estimating, showroom/facilities displays and upkeep, business development and product/inventory knowledge.
The Sales Director also maintains a book of business, as well as partaking in inventory purchasing decisions.
Responsibilities
Manage Sales/Estimating team members in Northbrook IL and Kenosha WI locationsHold sales meetings to discuss in progress and pending bids, monthly and year-to-date goals and general account managementGrow company sales volume yearly while maintaining marginsUtilize business development to maintain existing accounts and target new designers, architects, homeowners and buildersMonitor relationships between client accounts and the TTM account manager to ensure we are servicing our clients to the best of our abilitiesReview bids to ensure estimates are accurate and margins are maintainedFoster and reinforce the team/family environmentConduct annual employee reviewsQualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred5 years of industry experience requiredStrong background in salesManagement experienceComfortable reading and interpreting architectural drawingsProficiency in Word, Excel and AutoCADAble to multi-task and juggle many responsibilities at same timeOptimistic attitude, problem-solving oriented and team-based mentalityStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbout Tithof Tile & Marble
