Space Management at UVA School of Medicine is seeking a Store and Warehouse Specialist. This role provides career tracks for storekeepers or warehouse specialists who perform expert level warehouse responsibilities or supervision of other store or warehouse workers. Employees serving as experts may be responsible for quality checks, reports, inventory control, resolving shipping, receiving, and distribution issues, or training others on use of specific equipment.
Job Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Passing score on test (written and performance) in order to comply with OSHA code 1910.178(a) and operate a powered industrial truck. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job requires traveling, moving up to 50 lbs. and may require operating a forklift (valid driver's license required).
