As a Store Associate, you'll be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. You'll work closely with the ALDI team to provide excellent customer service and enhance the shopping experience.
Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00 | Year 3 - $18.50 | Year 4 - $18.50 | Year 5 - $19.50
Duties and Responsibilities: - Processing customer purchases and maintaining cleanliness - Providing exceptional customer service and assisting with shopping experience - Collaborating with team members and communicating with store management - Participating in inventory counts and adhering to cash policies - Following company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality - Performing physical tasks such as stocking merchandise and general cleaning
Qualifications: - Ability to provide courteous customer service - Efficient and accurate cash register operation - Experience in retail environment preferred - Excellent communication and organizational skills
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred - Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
