The purpose of this role is to provide Ethos clients with elevated salon support through product knowledge and comprehensive communication of educational and promotional opportunities. Furthermore, a Sales Associate would assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and utilize their experience to establish customer relationships, seek growth, and cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for the team and clients alike.Position Summary:A Store Associate, reporting to the Store Manager, is responsible for assisting with daily operations including but not limited to customer service, execution of merchandising and promotional plans, and inventory replenishment and put away.Essential job functions and responsibilities:Basic training of POS operating system in order to effectively complete customer transactionsTaking inbound calls and making outbound calls to internal sales and external customersResponding to order inquiries via email, phone or in-personAssist with weekly replenishment put awayReviewing Insider for awareness of current promotions, focus items and educationReviewing literature for product knowledge to effectively relay information to customersResolve any discrepancies in calm, professional mannerKey personal attributes:Must be effective working with a diverse team and must possess a working style that balances the need for operational excellence, customer satisfaction and teamwork consistent with a high-performance culture.Must have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to demonstrate endurance and drive and to set a high pace for self and peers in an engaging manner.Must be able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writingMust be able to work with computers, scanners, material handling equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent customer service abilities.Must be an effective negotiator with the ability to listen, compromise and assert oneself as warranted.Possess strong technical product and industry knowledge.Experience/Education:High School diploma or GEDOne to three years of previous Customer Service experienceCosmetology license/experience preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 25 lbs. on a repetitive basis.Must be able to walk and stand up to 50% of the workday to perform duties.Must be able to perform desk/computer work from either a sitting or standing position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
