Job Objective:Manages the store staff; production and sales; store maintenance; customer development; bankingand record keeping procedures. Responsible for all day to day operations of assigned thrift store.

Minimum Qualifications:Education & Experience An associate's degree in business administration, retail sales or marketing ispreferred; 2 years' experience in staff management and development or combination of educationand experience.

Certifications:Valid Driver's License. Able to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army per Salvation Army Policy.Skills/Abilities:- Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communicationwith customers, management and co workers.- Basic computer skills including but not limited to the use of the Point of Sales System; the payrollprogram, Microsoft Office Suite and all other programs or systems that are adopted by the TSAARC.- Ability to give change accurately.- Good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity.

Supervisory Responsibility: In conjunction with the Regional Manager recruit, interview and recommend for hire Store staff. Train and supervise the store staff.

In collaboration with the Regional Manager provide direct reports with a personnel review. Review and approve time and attendance for store personnel using the current payroll system.Checks time logs regularly. Following all current regulations and trainings.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, andability to adjust focus.

The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather. Maystand for extended periods
