Job Description:

Laine Honolulu is seeking a highly driven and experienced individual who wants to grow with our company as the Store Manager to lead our new Pearlridge Center shop! This is a pivotal role in our team, requiring a blend of leadership, operational management, and customer service expertise to maintain our brand's high standards. As Store Manager, you will oversee both our retail and jewelry bar sectors, ensure operational excellence, and drive sales performance, all while enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of both the retail sector and the jewelry bar, ensuring seamless integration of both areas.
  • Collaborate directly with upper management, participating in monthly strategy meetings to discuss sales goals, events, and store performance. Assist in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Manage all aspects of inventory control, including organizing, pricing, labeling, and conducting regular quality checks on products in the store and backstock.
  • Ensure back stock inventory (clothing, jewelry, and wholesale items) is well-organized and up-to-date, while performing regular quality assurance checks on merchandise.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems, input new products, and ensure the accuracy of product discrepancies, inventory reports, and other documentation to maximize efficiency.
  • Lead and manage the store team, delegating tasks as needed to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
  • Create and manage staff schedule.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and support both new and existing staff, ensuring they are well-informed about promotions, updates, policies, and store procedures.
  • Provide leadership by setting a professional example for the team, ensuring high standards in customer service, sales, and store presentation.
  • Drive sales performance through goal setting, team motivation, and continuous feedback to staff.
  • Possess expert knowledge of the store's merchandise, including its location, pricing, and unique features.
  • Handle cash management, including register reconciliations, change orders, and maintaining accurate cash tracking records.
  • Design and create jewelry pieces for all store locations, utilizing various jewelry-making techniques such as wire wrapping, permanent jewelry welding, and more.
  • Assist with fulfilling online and wholesale jewelry orders, maintaining communication with customers regarding pick-ups, returns, exchanges, and inquiries.
  • Offer personalized fashion and jewelry advice to customers, providing recommendations that align with their individual needs.
  • Execute all store opening and closing procedures independently, ensuring all daily operations are handled efficiently.
  • Maintain the store's visual presentation by designing creative showroom displays and ensuring that the boutique remains clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Support boutique and brand events, contributing to planning and execution as needed.
  • Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of women's retail management experience
  • Advanced computer proficiency, particularly in Google Suites.
  • A deep passion for fashion and jewelry, with the ability to connect with customers and provide personalized service.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide, inspire, and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, especially when it comes to working directly with senior level directors/team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive, informed decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $50k - $85k per year, depending on experience, plus tips and performance-based bonuses.
  • Opportunity for salary increase following a 6-month probationary period and performance review.
