Travel: Frequent - 75%

About the Role:

The Store Operations Specialist acts as an Ecommerce liaison, implementing best practices in-store that match that customers' experience online. While members' ecommerce sites are meant to drive customer traffic into their stores, the customer experience doesn't end there. The Store Operations Specialist helps ensure that members are prepared to accept orders, promptly notify customers of deliveries, have a dedicated area of their store for order pick-up, and fulfill many other in-store best practices.

Responsibilities include:

* Visit members on-site to perform training services and implement operational best practices

* Meet with members to analyze existing store operations and determine areas for improvement

* Be able to use and train on key features of the Epicor POS platforms (Eagle, Bistrack, and Propello)

* Coach members on best practices for inventory management

* Build rapport with members by checking-in after training events and assisting as needed

* Meet with members and express the value of in-store operations services at our bi-annual member conventions

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in business or related field

* Experience in retail operations, retail merchandising, and/or point-of-sales

Skills and Abilities:

* Efficient analytical skills to assess all elements of a member or prospect's business

* Driven to provide and recommend tools and programs to allow increased growth & profitability of members and Do it Best

* Excellent project management skills

* Quality communication skills, both verbal and written

* Customer service oriented

* Personable and positive

* Computer/PC skills

* Presentation and speaking skills
