5 days a week / 6:00am - 1:00pm
Special Working Needs--- Some Holidays
JOB SUMMARY
* Inventory all food and non-food in Food & Nutrition Services storeroom, freezers and walk-in refrigerators.
* Receives food deliveries, stock shelves, and rotates stock on a first in, first out basis.
* Inventory all food and non-food supplies on nursing units.
* Stock units with items for age specific patients by assigned par levels.
* Assembles food items needed for production area, tray line, and cafeteria.
* Enters data for floor stocks in DFM computer system
* Prints floor stock requisitions.
* Verifies for quantity and pricing.
* Edits and/or modifies as necessary.
* Update each unit floor stock's requisition.
* Fills carts for cafeteria and production area, utilizing requisition sheets.
* Enters data into DFM stock editor for withdrawals, prints, verifies for quantity, etc. and updates if correct.
* Chop fresh vegetables daily to be used salad bar and for patient tray service.
* responsible for delivering 10:00am nourishments and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School diploma or equivalent or higher required.
* Prior experience in food service is preferred.
* Ability to read and write required.
* Experience in quantity food production is preferred.
* Prior computer experience is preferred.
* Valid driver's license with good driving record required.
