Trillium Professional has a direct hire opportunity for a Stormwater Group Manager in the Chicagoland area. This role offers a hybrid work schedule. Pay is $160k/year. Job duties: -You'll be responsible for stormwater management functions including but not limited to drainage facility design, drainage planning studies, stormwater asset management, and data collection. -You'll manage a team of drainage professionals, recruit and train new employees. You'll also monitor their productivity and professional development, and provide technical guidance to improve performance. -You'll be accountable for the success of your group. You'll participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for the department. -You'll provide project oversight and monitor scope, schedule, and budget for drainage tasks. You'll lead proposals and projects, and work with the marketing team to respond to large, complex proposals; you'll also manage discipline budgets. -You'll manage the preparation of studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects. -You'll interface with clients including state and local agencies, and coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders. -You'll share our passion for learning and growth. Apply now! -You studied civil engineering and earned a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a related field, an emphasis in water resources/environmental is preferred. -You have at least 10 years of experience in water resources engineering, stormwater management design, management and business development. -You're also a licensed professional engineer with CFM and/or CPESC - highly preferred or able to obtain in the future. -You're experienced in the principles and practices of design and inspection related to stormwater systems, roadway design, construction, and public works projects. -You have a strong technical background and expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, design, and analysis. -You also have a high level of analytical ability in order to identify, develop, and provide solutions to complex issues. -You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality water resources projects on time and within budget. -You're proficient with hydrologic and hydraulic software. You're knowledgeable with Microstation, Bentley Open Roads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
