Job Summary: MacLean-Fogg is seeking an experienced and dynamic Strategic Account Executive to drive new business growth and manage key customer relationships across various industries, with a focus on revenue generation. This role is primarily responsible for acquiring new business (75%) while leveraging our manufacturing capabilities to deliver tailored solutions to clients. As a national role, the Strategic Account Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams and report to the General Manager at our Mooresville Manufacturing Facility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including but not limited to the automotive sector.
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts by fostering long-term relationships and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Achieve revenue growth targets by effectively communicating MacLean-Fogg's manufacturing capabilities and value propositions to potential clients.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Development, Supply Chain) to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings nationwide to build networks and maintain a strong market presence.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to the customer's specific needs.
  • Regularly report on sales activity, pipeline status, and market feedback to the General Manager and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a strategic sales or business development role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities, with the ability to translate technical aspects into customer solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with customers, attend industry events, and participate in conferences.
