Job Title: Strategic Account Manager, Clean WaterReporting: VP, GM Process SystemsMajor Focus: Work as part of a team of problem solvers focusing on clean water technologies within the dairy, food & beverage, craft beverage and landfill markets. The focus is to drive revenue growth through strategic long-term partnerships resulting in growth of $20M in 3-5yrs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow Bookings: Develop global go to market strategies, selling strategies and executive level relationships to lead team to annual booking targets.
  • Improve Margins: Through revised sales processes and value based sales models, improve margins over time.
  • Increase Aftermarket Sales: Increase recurring revenue base through series of available aftermarket products and services.
  • Major Challenges:
  • Many Customers: How to focus our commercial and engineering resources on the most important or likely to convert opportunities.
  • Market Cyclicality: Some submarkets are cyclical or subject to lengthy capital approval processes.
  • Challenge to develop a more predictable and recurring revenue stream.
  • Expected Performance Outcomes:
  • Win specification on defined vertical pipelines and platforms by prioritizing resources.
  • Grow sales in core markets: dairy, food & beverage, craft beverage and landfill markets
  • Grow qualified sales pipeline in target applications within core markets.
  • Travel - 40%
  • Required Experience:
  • Experience in large and mid-size/small companies, working in both fast-pace and rigorous operating environments.
  • Minimum 3+ years of proven experience selling water filtration technology or large water-related capital products.
  • Track record of sales growth in adverse market conditions.
  • Filtration technical experience preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge/Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership to successfully implement an overall customer strategy
  • Thorough understanding of selling across multiple industries and up and down the organization
  • Savvy sales process facilitator
  • Needs an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Able to manage key relationships with Leadership teams, application managers, and external contacts.
