The Team Lead will work closely with the assigned sellers to implement sales strategies to increase revenue through solutions that support the clients marketing goals.Key Duties & Responsibilities* Sell, prospect, retain, grow and service regional and national franchise/co-op brands, with a focus on end clients/brands where there is not full corporate support of RR Donnelley campaigns.* Develop sales strategies; ensure consistency of insights, messaging, and support across the Brand.*
  • Utilize internal resources to support campaign strategy, messaging and drive revenue.* Collaborate with all internal partners and team members to drive revenue.* Peer coach and team leader to sellers assigned to partner brands/team accounts.* Identify, prospect and onboard new franchise brands and/or co-op partnerships.* Work with field sellers or on self-written new business to onboard new franchise and or co-op brands.* Experienced with contract and pricing negotiations.* Effective communication and experience with C-suite decisions makers* Be considered a business partner by the customer; maintain and grow customer accounts by:*
  • Providing valued, comprehensive and strategic account management.* Ensuring tactical and flawless implementation of products, services, and solutions.* Researching, tailoring, and teaching commercial insights to clients.* Remaining point of contact to ensure end client's concerns are addressed.QualificationsExperience* 9+ years in a quota carrying sales role; demonstrated consistent success at achieving sales quota.* Media experience required.* Working with franchises and or co-op funds is highly desired.* Project Management experience is highly desired.* Challenger Sales or other sales insights driven methodology a plus.Knowledge/Skills & Abilities:* Demonstrates leadership qualities.* Requires conceptual thinking to understand issues and implications.* Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.* Ability to educate and influence stakeholders/audiences resulting in closed/won business.* Ability to handle more complex/strategic accounts; typically interacting with client/prospects higher level executives/C-suite and ad agencies.* Excellent written and oral communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple clients while seeking new opportunities.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with aptitude to learn system* Strong organization and negotiation skills* Experiences with sales cadence software platform a plus.Communication & Contacts:* Communication with clients and internal co-workers - all levels of management, business leadership, customers, suppliers and other internal/external entities as requiredDecision Making Scope* Ability to make recommendations and bring out-of-box recommendations to clients and areas that support sales (i.e.: targeting, marketing, and pricing)* Requires broad conceptual judgment and ability to deal with complex factorsSome travel required. RRD's current pay range for this role is $50,000 to $150,000 / year. The pay range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. It is not typical for the final salary offered to be near or at the top of the range. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs.
