The Role:

The Strategic Services team at Optimove offers customer-centric, data-driven marketing programs, expert marketing strategy consulting, analytics & data science as a service, and CRM outsourcing, customized to each client's specific objectives and engagement goals.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy Consultant to join our dynamic Strategic Services team based in New York. As a Strategy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing project plans and roadmaps to address client business needs, developing strategic recommendations, supporting junior analysts on project deliverables, and building client relationships. Your expertise in data analysis, problem solving, strategic thinking, and project management will contribute to the success of our client projects. You will also work collaboratively with leadership and across multiple internal functions on strategic and commercial activities that will drive team and business growth and scale Strategic Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a role model: setting standards for Strategic Services, demonstrating senior technical expertise, and thought leadership, supporting practice transformation activity, and coaching/developing data analysts.
  • Conduct project leadership activities such as project planning, timeline management, and coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assess an organization's key business objectives / challenges through stakeholder interviews, discovery, requirements gathering, benchmark exercise and other consultative approaches, to formulate vision, strategy, and implementation roadmap for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of actionable and innovative marketing strategies leveraging Optimove services and capabilities that address client challenges and drive business growth.
  • Lead a team of data analysts to identify and solve complex business problems, analyze data for insights, synthesize recommendations, and formulate compelling business cases. Manage the end-to-end delivery process from problem solutioning, strategy prioritization, implementation, to impact measurement.
  • Manage and build relationships with clients in the US and EMEA. Act as the key day-to-day point-of-contact for clients, representing Optimove and Strategic Services in client meetings and workshops, as well as present findings and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and internal company data to identify key insights and opportunities for clients.
  • Prepare well-structured, concise, and compelling presentations, reports, and documents to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in strategy consulting to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to client engagements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of marketing or consulting experience in software professional services, strategy consulting, management consulting, CRM management or related roles. Relevant industry experience in gaming, finance, retail or e-commerce a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) & project management tools, e.g. Notion.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to lead analysis of complex data from a variety of sources and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leadership.
  • Proven project management abilities and the capacity to work/lead effectively in cross-functional, global teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and problem-solve creatively.
  • Strong interpersonal and relational skills and ability to build rapport with clients and team members. Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.
  • Must be based in New York and eligible to work in the USA – we are not providing sponsorship at this time.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience working with or for CDP/MMH/ESP (i.e. Bloomreach, Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle, Tealium, Segment, Emarsys, Pega...).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, Domo...).
  • Experience with Dataflows & ETL tools (i.e. Matillion, Talend...).

For those applicants in the NYC area, the base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000. The salary offered will be based on experience, role, and location.
