This role combines strategic thinking with technical analytics expertise and plays a key role in advancing our data maturity model through data modeling, reporting, and ensuring data quality. Collaborating closely with institutional leadership, the Strategic Data Analyst II will provide insights that drive operational and business improvements, while also reducing reporting burdens on database administrators. FLSA Salaried (Exempt) Salary The pay is determined by experience and starts at $80,000 Minimum Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with at least three years of experience in:
- Data Analysis and Manipulation, Data Visualization and Business Intelligence, Statistical Analysis and Predictive Modeling, Data Warehousing and Big Data, Data Integration, ETL, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Analytics, Data Governance and Management, Reporting and Automation
- Data governance and ensuring data quality across systems
Experience must demonstrate:
- Strong skills in data analysis, statistics, and business intelligence tools
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining dashboards and data models
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for storytelling with data
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and train staff on data tools
- Familiarity with data privacy and security standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL and database query languages
- Knowledge of institutional data governance frameworks and practices
