Responsibilities:
As a Strategic HR Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in a number of HR led initiatives including providing guidance and engagement with key stakeholders and teams, coordinating multiple concurrent programs and initiatives, and overseeing progress, ensuring delivery of timely, successful program progression.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of translating complex ideas into actionable plans. You will be responsible for managing high-priority, cross-functional projects, and helping to ensure the HR departments goals align with the overall business strategy. What is the work?
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Partner with HR leaders to implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives
- Drive strategic HR initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with overall goals
Program / Project Management:
- Lead and manage cross functional projects, from inception to execution, ensuring they meet objectives and deadlines
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution
- Track and report on program progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including employee surveys, performance metrics, and program outcomes
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights that could inform strategic decisions and program improvements
- Translate findings into clear narratives, tailored appropriately based on audience and objectives
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (both in and outside of HR)
- Create clear, compelling presentations to communicate data insights, program status, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Design and develop visual reports and presentations using tools such as PowerPoint, Tableau, or Excel to effectively convey complex information
- Tailor presentations to different audiences, ensuring that key messages are communicated effectively and align with organizational goals
Change Management:
- Support change management initiatives by supporting the development and execution of change plans and strategies
- Help facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of policies, procedures, and technologies, when needed
What is your background?
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management
- 3+ years in a Human Resources (or related) role
- Proven experience managing complex projects and driving strategic initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
