Ok, enough about us. Here's what we need from you:What you'll do In a few words The Strategic Insights Analyst at TrueScripts analyzes prescription claims data, clinical and financial metrics, and demographics for clients. Working with cross-functional teams, they identify trends to improve member outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance procedures. They validate findings through quality controls and present actionable data to internal and sometimes external stakeholders. This role supports Business Development, Account Management, Clinical Care, Operations, Finance, and Executive teams. The fundamentals for the job Principal Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of book-of-business key performance indicators to identify unusual patterns and proactively manage strategic trends.
  • Lead various analytical projects to ensure optimal data proficiency, including evaluating client reporting, dashboards for Business Development and Account Management, and the logic used to reprice prescription claims.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to enhance data management and reporting techniques that support informed business decisions.
  • Work alongside the Operations team to maintain the financial and operational performance guarantee tracker.
  • Educate Reporting Analysts on internal business process changes or industry events that affect data flow, reporting metrics, or established queries.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports upon request from clients, brokers, or internal leadership team.
  • Automatically generate prescription review reports from the data warehouse.
  • Create client summaries using PowerPoint or Excel presentations.
  • Participate in weekly calls to provide status updates on assigned projects and assist teammates with troubleshooting.
  • Perform quality control on all analyses and reports within the organization.
RequirementsWhat you're made of Qualifications Education: An associate degree with a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience as a data insights analyst or a bachelor's degree with at least three years of demonstrated experience as a data insights analyst is required. The educational background should be focused on computer science, data analytics, or business management. Experience in the PBM or healthcare industry is considered an advantage. Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated articulateness with an ability to collaborate directly with senior management in a high-level expert capacity.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, comprehensible across all levels within TrueScripts.
  • Proven track record of excelling in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.
  • Capacity to manage multiple analytical projects concurrently.
  • Flexibility and a strong team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to acquire an extensive understanding of the PBM industry.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Competence in developing SQL queries for enhancing data management efficiencies.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and PowerPoint as reporting tools.
  • Excellent computer skills, including comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 platform.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to information security principles.
Licenses and Certification Requirements: None Required Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment with a flexible 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40- to 45-hour workweek. Some light travel may be required. All employees of TrueScripts must understand and adhere to Confidentiality and Personal Health Information (PHI) Guidelines as stated in the Employee Handbook. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.? Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers, and type for up to eight hours in a workday. The employee is required to stand or walk for short periods of time and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
