Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.3 years of experience in enterprise IT and video.Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.Experience managing agreements or partnerships.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or other advanced degree.Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.Excellent communication and influencing skills. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.Project Starline's mission is to bring Google's new immersive communications experience to business and eventually consumer users everywhere. Starline is at a critical juncture as we rapidly advance our efforts toward pre-sales and product launch. As part of the Project Starline team, the Starline Strategic Partner Development Lead will develop and manage our Direct Sales and Go-To-Market efforts working with a variety of cross-functional teams at Google and with our OEM and platform partners. You will be responsible for directly managing and signing our first set of pre-sales partners, building our Sales pipeline and working with cross-functional teams across GBO, Ads, and Cloud as Starline grows its enterprise client base and creates strategic partnerships for Google.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Support and drive execution on Starline Direct Sales strategy respectively. Work with external partners (OEM, customers, channel partners) and cross-functional stakeholders (product/engineering, finance, legal, etc.) to establish structures for direct customer-led sales. Lead workstreams required for sales and partner conversations directly through lead generation and customer engagement. Guide stakeholders as a thought leader on product strategy, roadmapping and partnership opportunities, providing key insights on market trends and recommendations on strategic commercial partnerships.Lead strategic partnerships and end-to-end agreement process; including deal structuring, impact modeling, terms drafting, and discussing commercial terms and project planning for all stages of a agreement lifecycle and product launch.Work cross-functionally with senior leaders across Google.Represent the voice of the customer to ensure business and technical feedback is received and implemented to make our products better.
