Within 12 months of program completion, four-in-five COOP alumni are fully employed.Learn more about COOP Careers' here: What You Will DoAs the Strategic Pilots Manager at COOP Careers, you will play a key role in driving innovation and supporting the development and execution of new pilot programs. Your work will involve creating, piloting, and testing innovative approaches to program scale and sustainability, all in alignment with COOP's strategic priorities. You will collaborate closely with the Associate Director (AD) of Strategic Pilots to manage and oversee pilot programs and projects, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently.In this role, you will:
- Project plan and co-design pilots in collaboration with the Program Operations team to define scope and objectives
- Support the measurement and evaluation of pilot effectiveness by monitoring progress while identifying milestones and supporting troubleshooting.
- Support the creation and scaling of a sustainable and replicable project-based learning program.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic Pilots Management (60%)
- Execution and Delivery: Lead the execution and delivery of strategic pilot programs, to drive the planning, piloting, and testing of innovative approaches to enhance program scalability and sustainability.
- Collaboration and Design: Work closely with the Associate Director (AD) of Strategic Pilots and Design & Evaluation team to support the design of pilot programs. This includes defining objectives, scope, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Management: Take point on the day-to-day management and execution of pilot programs. This involves creating detailed project plans, managing resources, and ensuring that the implementation adheres to established timelines. Work with the AD of Strategic Pilots to implement evaluation frameworks that measure the effectiveness and impact of pilot programs. To include but not limited to:
- Develop and manage scalable and replicable work-based learning experiences that can be integrated across multiple programs.
- Drive the transition from two to three program cycles per year, optimizing program timelines for efficiency and impact.
- Support the project management of the pre-grad/at-grad college program option and learning agenda, ensuring alignment with COOP's broader strategic goals.
- Monitoring and Problem-Solving: Monitor pilot program progress, identify potential risks or challenges, and proactively recommend solutions for implementation.
Project-Based Learning (40%)
- Support the execution and refinement of a scalable and replicable project-based learning program focused on work-based learning simulations, with the goal of integrating these experiences into program/alumni operations and program design teams.
- Facilitate coordination between the project-based learning initiatives and Program Operations to ensure smooth design, scheduling, and execution of capstone projects.
- Engage and support external clients and partners, collaborating with the Partnerships team to create project outlines and design materials for employer-supported capstone projects.
Who We NeedRequired Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of professional experience, with at least 1-2 years in client-facing roles or delivering digital services
- Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with both external and internal stakeholders
- General understanding of Digital Marketing, Data Analytics and Financial Services verticals from a professional or academic setting
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing projects from inception to completion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce (or other CRM software), Zoom, Slack, and Monday.com (or other project management software)
Preferred Qualifications:
- COOP Alumni with previous captainship experience
- Proficiency in Search, Social Media, SEO, Google Analytics (or similar analytics tools), data analysis and/or financial services
- 1+ years of directly related professional experience within a community-based organization (CBO), educational institution, and/or workforce development sectors
- Past experience running media campaigns on Google Search and/or META and/or experience with data visualization or SQL and Tableau
- Understanding of the inner workings of an agency/vendor operation, from Account Management to execution and customer retention
