Position Overview:

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain processes within the MedTech sector. This role will involve close collaboration with suppliers to negotiate best pricing, ensure quality compliance, and implement strategies that protect against margin erosion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and risk assessments to mitigate potential issues.

Cost Management:

  • Analyze supply chain costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving strategies to protect profit margins.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining quality and compliance.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify and implement process improvements throughout the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all supply chain practices comply with industry regulations and quality standards specific to medical devices.
  • Maintain clear documentation and effective communication with stakeholders regarding quality assurance processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices related to medical devices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
