OVERVIEW The Strategy Consultant is a critical member of the Jefferson Enterprise Strategy team, which provides routine and on-demand strategic analytics, intelligence, and guidance to support informed, sound business decisions. Jefferson Enterprise Strategy is the entity primarily accountable for managing and facilitating the annual enterprise-wide strategic-financial planning process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY The Strategy Consultant is expected to meaningfully contribute to multiple projects concurrently and with limited day-to-day oversight. He/she is responsible for mining and aggregating health care market and utilization data, reliably analyzing data accurately and expeditiously, and identifying strategic relevance of analysis outputs. The Strategy Consultant drafts client-ready strategy deliverables for project manager review and finalization. He/she routinely interacts with project clients to review drafts, present findings, and facilitate select working sessions. The Strategy Consultant enables successful execution of the annual enterprise-wide Integrated Strategic & Financial Planning [ISFP] process, including supporting scheduling and logistics, creating assessments to support strategy development, and drafting meeting agendas and facilitation materials. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
- Appropriately engages with organizational stakeholders, maintaining the utmost confidentiality on sensitive projects
- Independently manages his/her own workload effectively
- Develops high quality, on-time, draft deliverables on multiple (3+) projects concurrently with limited oversight
- Identifies and documents strategic relevance of data analysis with limited support
- Supports project management, including direct task oversight & management of analysts on select projects
- Supports business plan development, including process and timeline management, procurement and integration of inputs from stakeholders, creation of displays and visual representations of data; edits and drafts content as appropriate
- Supports the ISFP process (as described above)
- Establishes credibility as a reliable strategic resource with a range of key organizational stakeholders
- Coordinates execution of major routine departmental administrative processes, functions, and initiatives

Qualifications EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree with business or health care focus and 2 years of experience in a health care planning function with a hospital/health system or as a consultant, OR
- MBA or MHA/MHSA degree with at least 1 year experience in a health care planning function with a hospital/health system or as a consultant (fellowships & internships count toward experience)
