Focus:
- Execute engineering responsibilities, such as structural analysis, design, and detailing for diverse projects, encompassing everything from minor restorations to large-scale new constructions.
- Coordinate and manage the preparation and delivery of submissions and presentations to local authorities, utilities, and planning boards.
- Conduct comprehensive site investigations to document conditions and assess structural requirements.
- Review and complete design calculations and assist in drawing and specification preparation.
- Assist with project planning and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Resolve technical challenges during construction by providing effective solutions to ensure project success.
- Drive business growth by maintaining client relationships, seeking new opportunities, creating proposals, and representing the firm externally.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in structural engineering, with significant project leadership and design experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE Licensure a plus.
- Proficiency in various structural analysis software.
- Deep understanding and application of local code requirements.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, with strong multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software is a must.
