Position Description: RIZZO is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to perform structural analysis and design for various types of civil structures for our Lake Mary, FL office. Experience Requirements: Linear/Non-Linear structural analysis experience with Static & Dynamic systems, including but not limited to: Pushover analysis, Moving loads analysis, Contact/ interaction analysis, Seismic time history analysis, Seismic response spectrum analysis, Harmonic response & random vibration analysis, and Staged construction Design of steel, reinforced concrete, and precast concrete structures: Buildings, Building Foundations, Nuclear and Fossil Fuel Power Plants, Dams, Culverts, Industrial facilities, and Bridges Working knowledge of various design codes, including but not limited to: ACI 318 ACI 349 AISC 360 AISC 341 ASCE 7, ASCE 4, and ASCE 43 Standards IBC and UBC Building Codes AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code – Sections I, II, III and VIII ASME B31.1 and 31.3 Piping Codes ASME AG-1 Code for Nuclear HVAC Equipment IEEE 344, 323, 627 and 693 for Seismic Qualification of Equipment for NPP Service Familiarity of various software: SAP2000 RISA 3D STAAD.Pro GT-Strudl AUTOCAD ANSYS Mathcad Matlab Revit Structures Mathematica Minimum Requirements: M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering, structural emphasis Minimum 7 - 10 years practical experience in structural analysis and design Proficient with SAP2000, RISA 3D, STAAD.Pro, ANSYS, and AutoCAD E.I.T required, PE License is a plus Willing to travel as necessary Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000 - $110,000 per year (commensurate with experience) Competitive Compensation Package: • 401(k) • Accident/Wellness insurance • Dental insurance • Dependent care spending account • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Company paid life, AD&D, and short/long term disability • Paid time off (vacation, paid sick leave, holidays) • Professional development • Employee referral program • Relocation assistance (as applicable) • Vision insurance • Optional work from home Fridays • Twelve (12) annual work from home days BACKGROUND RIZZO International, Inc. is a woman-owned, highly focused consulting firm specializing in all aspects of civil engineering, earth sciences, and field/testing services for dams, nuclear power plants, and other power-related markets.
