Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements
- Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs.
- Repetitive hand, arm, and finger motions requiring dexterity.
- Visual abilities for close, distance, depth perception, and color differentiation.
- Hearing abilities to discern tones and volumes.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
Required Skills and Experience/ Must-Haves:
- Must possess own tools in good working order.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications.
- Experience with structure assembly and minor part fitting techniques.
- Proficient in airframe corrosion removal and installation of fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks.
Preferred:
- Ability to travel.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, including experience with the US Department of Defense, NASA, or US Military.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
Education/ Must-Haves:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Typically, 5 or more years of relevant experience. Higher-level degrees may substitute for experience, and related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
