To be considered a strong candidate you must possess strong computer, communication, and negotiation skills and have solid experience designing steel structures. Location: Charleston, West VirginiaCompensation: $75 - $90k-Completes feasibility studies by studying project concepts, objectives, priorities and requirements; conducts site investigations; identifies and establishes performance standards; prepares construction documents and submittals.-Develops structural design plans by researching, analyzing, selecting and applying structural engineering concepts, approaches; adapting and modifying structural mechanics options; developing and evaluating new structural architectures and algorithms; performing design calculations relating to foundations and structures, loading, structural response, and connection design; preparing drawings and visualizations; collaborating with related engineering design teams; evaluating structural materials and suppliers; identifying and resolving design integration issues; determining and establishing design specifications and safety standards.Skills/Qualifications:- Site Development- Quality Engineering- Drafting Tools- AutoCADGreat Health, Life and Disability Benefits, 401k with 25% match, PTO and paid holidays, extensive training program
