Job Description:

A leading agricultural/industrial design/build group is adding a Structural Engineer to their growing team. The company has a strong presence in agricultural and food production construction sector with current and prospective projects across the US. We are searching for an individual with solid structural engineering experience and education that is looking to advance their career. The Structural Engineer will be partnering with the Senior Engineering and Ownership Team on diverse agricultural am industrial projects.

This position may also offer a remote office setting for the right individual. Preferably within the IN or surrounding states.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Aid in the management and performance of planning, designing, and building of projects
  • Evaluate, select and apply engineering concepts and criteria while making substantial engineering decisions
  • Review design drawings, prepare project specs, review plans for compliance and regulatory standards, make crucial corrections
  • Material take-off, purchasing, and estimating of projects
  • Properly evaluate bids, make recommendations, and aid in the management of large-scale projects
  • Primarily office-based setting, with occasional travel when needed

Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, building construction management or related degree
  • Professional engineering experience (full-time role or Internships)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Technical abilities
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Passed Part I of the Professional Engineer's Examination preferred
