We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering Team. At DiLandro Andrews, our structural engineers bring high-end residential visions to life, ensuring the integrity and longevity of luxury homes throughout the Tri-State area and the Hamptons. Elevating the project experience, we collaborate closely with architects and builders to seamlessly integrate innovative engineering solutions into stunning, one-of-a-kind residences.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare permit sets, construction drawings, and designs of residential and commercial building structures.
  • Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other data received from architects, designers, and engineers.
  • Use current industry software tools to perform structural analysis and design.
  • Visit site and/or client offices as required by the project.
  • Work with assigned task scope and budget, coordinate with client and team to develop effective and efficient solutions.
  • Provide construction administration services and field engineering services as required.
  • Expected to perform job duties independently with some direction from lead engineer.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BE Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • 1-2 years of post-graduate Structural Engineering design experience required.
  • Working knowledge of current industry software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Ram Structural Systems, and Enercalc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Construction and leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong team player who can work on several projects simultaneously.
  • For required site visits, the ability to climb ladders, walk on roofs, and enter confined spaces.
