Job Description:

Our client, a leading structural engineering firm, is seeking a Structural Engineer with 7+ years of experience. This role is on-site in Naples, FL. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can contribute to designing innovative, structurally sound buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural calculations and design for high-end residential and commercial buildings.
  • Develop and review construction documents for pile-supported structures and coastal construction projects following ASCE-24, Fema, and FBC guidelines.
  • Collaborate with in-house engineers, designers, and drafters to create structural construction documents.
  • Collaborate with architects and delegate engineers to coordinate plans for mechanical, plumbing, trusses, etc.
  • Ability to train junior support staff and oversee their projects.
  • Conduct site inspections and address any structural-related issues.
  • Sign and seal structural documents as the Engineer of Record.
  • Use structural analysis software, including AutoCAD and Enercalc (Revit experience is a plus).
  • Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
  • 7+ years of experience in structural design, with a strong focus on high-end residential and commercial projects.
  • Bilingual Spanish (not required)
  • Experience with pile-supported structures and coastal construction.
  • Design experience with Wood, Masonry, Steel, Concrete, Epicore, Aluminum, and Precast.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and Enercalc is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
