DescriptionStructural program Coordinator NP, Full Time, Poughkeepsie, New York (75 minutes from NYC)The Heart Center is seeking a Full-Time board-certified Nurse Practitioner to join its established and growing Cardiology Practice (Hudson Valley Cardiovascular Practice, PC). This is both inpatient and outpatient care position is based at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. The Structural program Coordinator NP coordinates all services/systems required for an organized multi-disciplinary team approach to the evaluation treatment and follow-up of the patient needing structural heart procedures including TAVR Watchman Mitra Clip and other exciting new procedures. - Provide care for a high volume, fast paced Cardiology service in collaboration with an outstanding team of cardiologists.
- Coordinates all aspect of a high-volume structural program.
- Collaborates with MDs and all team members to maintain excellent patient outcome.
- Strong patient advocate
- Coordinates weekly multidisciplinary structural program meetings.
- Participates in weekly valve clinic.
- Orders/evaluates all relevant patient testing.
- Performs follow up office visits for structural patients.
- Participates in patient rounds.
- Works closely with product vendors.
- Communicates with quality department to maintain excellent registry data

Qualifications
- NYS License and Board Certification
- Structural program experience preferred.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Cardiology and critical care experience preferred.
