Specific Job Duties & Responsibilities : Must have ability to install, terminate and test low voltage & fiber optic cables (to include single mode & multi-mode fiber optic cables, coax, Cat5/6, standard & solid conductor low voltage cable,) Dress and route cable into telecommunications closets, through attics, conduit, and between floors into apartments, and other work areas per job specifications Identify and remove redundant cabling Install Panduit, conduit, and/or innerduct Fire-stop various types of cable penetrations Ensure all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations Read and comprehend technical schematics, operation manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures Identify color codes for 568A, 568B, 6 strand fiber, 12 strand fiber, 25 pair and 50 pair. Complete projects within budget, on time, and in a safe manner Maintain the company's high standards of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, and team members. Submit all paperwork on time Adhere to all required project specific as well as company safety requirements Perform other duties as needs arise Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $25 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
