Position Overview:
The Structured Credit Associate will be instrumental in advising clients on complex structured finance transactions, including asset-backed securities (ABS), collateralised loan obligations (CLOs), and other securitisation products. This role demands a deep understanding of structured finance, regulatory frameworks, and market practices.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex structured finance transactions.
- Draft and review transactional documents, including offering memoranda, indentures, and pooling and servicing agreements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on underlying assets and collateral.
- Assist clients with regulatory compliance issues, including SEC and other regulatory filings related to structured credit products.
- Provide strategic legal advice on the management and resolution of distressed structured credit products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated legal solutions to clients.
- Stay abreast of market developments and regulatory changes impacting structured credit.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years PQE with substantial experience in structured finance and securitisation.
- Strong expertise in structured credit products, including ABS, CLOs, and other securitisations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Admitted to practice law in New York.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
