KCI is looking for enthusiastic and motivated college students (rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students) to join our structural engineering team focused on bridge projects in Mechanicsburg, PA. Interns will work under the guidance of a technical manager within KCI's structural engineering practice, gaining hands-on experience with real-world bridge projects. The summer intern will work 40 hours a week for approximately 10 weeks. Must be enrolled in a college engineering program focused on Civil Engineering or related field. Assist in creating plans, quantities, and cost estimates for bridge projects. Conduct data analysis and reporting related to structural engineering. Complete field surveys or laboratory assignments specific to bridge engineering. Engage in entry-level engineering, design, or drafting tasks. Prepare engineering studies and coordinate design plans with other disciplines. Apply quality control procedures in alignment with ISO standards.
