UNM-Taos Student Activity Specialist is seeking a Student Activity Assistant.
- Attends weekly student activities, events, and cultural programing planning meetings (time to be arranged based on schedule).
- Assemble and arrange cultural engagement displays around campus.
- Prepare rooms for student events to use - adjusting lights, sound volumes, and temperature as needed for each room before guests arrive.
- Ensure proper use, storage and maintenance of all A/V and meeting room equipment.
- Ensures high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the event center.
- On occasion, may serve as the on-site point of contact
- Other duties as assigned.

- Be degree seeking
- Be UNM-Taos student enrolled in 6 credit hours or more during the academic semester.
- Ability to contribute to, follow, and enforce system and procedures.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
