Position Overview
To participate in the effective asset management and safety of the building and grounds of the Almira School District.

Hours
* 8 hour days on a non-school day
* Christmas Break (Number of days to be determined)
* Spring Break (Number of days to be determined)
* Summer Break (begins one week after school is out until 2 weeks before school starts)
* Other/call up - such as snow removal
Required Qualifications
* Pass a background check
* Be between the ages of 16-19 and be enrolled in WA State School or Home School Program
* Able to daily lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
* Able to daily stand most of the day
* Able to daily walk on multiple surface types, angles, and uneven surfaces all day
* Able to daily work in cold and hot environments
* Ability to demonstrate good (90+%) attendance
Desired Qualifications
* Possess a driver's license
* Prior custodial and/or yard work experience
* Be a good communicator both verbally, in writing, and digitally
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to follow directions
* Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
Major Job Tasks
* Shovel snow - Early morning call up as need
* Grounds Work, such as, but not limited to:
* Weedeating
* Weeding
* Raking
* Shoveling
* Litter
* Moving/hauling/organizing
* Wash/detail buses and/or vehicles
* Cleaning (custodial), such as, but not limited to:
* Windows
* Dust/wiping
* Cleaning bathrooms
* Sweeping
* Vacuuming
* Painting
* Other duties as assigned
