Job Description:General Statement of Duties:Plan and implement service learning and volunteer opportunities and other civic programming on campus and in our community.Responsibilities:* Work as an employee of the Center for Civic Learning and Community Engagement to supplement civic programming at the college;* Primary responsibility will be to recruit and manage student volunteers and service learning students from the college. Provide support and response to student questions and needs regarding service learning and volunteering;* Provide campus-wide volunteer opportunities and civic education events/programming for students;* Plan and implement volunteer and service learning opportunities for students;Recruit MWCC students as volunteers for various opportunities, including on-campus events, service learning and volunteer opportunities;* Ensure that MWCC students providing service learning or volunteer hours are familiar with how to report service hours and fill out necessary paperwork; provide training as necessary;* Work with Center staff and faculty to conceptualize and implement service learning projects and events;* Attend bi-weekly SLICE meetings / professional development training;* Plan at least two campus-wide volunteer opportunities each semester (ex.
