Job Summary
This semester-long internship is designed to give individuals an opportunity to gain professional library experience. The library intern will assist the Federal Depository Unit on collection-related projects pertaining to our tangible print collection of federal government publications. Projects will include retrospectively collecting, weeding, copy cataloging, shifting, labeling, identifying correct call numbers, assessing condition, preservation, etc. Additionally, the intern will assist with the day-to-day operations of the unit and participate in professional development opportunities. Ideally, the successful applicant will start at the beginning of the Spring 2025 semester and finish in May 2025.
