Lifeline, a ministry for middle and high-school students at Ada Bible Church, is looking for a Student Ministries Campus Director to join the team at the Kentwood Campus. This full-time position offers an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about impacting students' lives as they explore the story of God and find their own place within it. The Student Ministries Campus Director leads, guides, and supervises staff and volunteer teams that create an enjoyable and relational student ministry experience for middle school and high school students. This job helps students and leaders continually ground their identity in Christ through quality leadership, teaching, and discipleship. This person owns the ministry of the campus by providing Christ like leadership to students and volunteers on ministry nights and to congregants and other employees throughout the week. - Plan and execute weekly Lifeline services at your campus by giving guidance and clear expectations to the Coordinator and Resident.
- Identify and recruit volunteers to serve in Lifeline
- Provide hospitable and biblical leadership to staff, volunteers, and students as needs and crises arise
- Write, prepare, and deliver (or oversee) leader trainings on Lifeline nights.
- Represent the people and the culture of your campus in meetings, events, and ministry initiatives
- Communicate with leaders in preparation for the night and make plans for last minute cancelations
- Provide hospitable leadership to staff, volunteers, and students as needs and crises arise
- Oversee environments at your campus by evaluating leader training, small group locations, schedule, and programing elements for your context.
- Maintain small group rosters and ministry tags throughout the year with the help of the Lifeline Admin
- Plan, attend, and participate in Lifeline events as assigned.
- Be present to students and volunteers and available on Lifeline nights.
- Invest in personal leadership through books, trainings, elder or ministry leader mentorship, and conferences

Campus Staff Team Member Actively integrate into the life of the campus by:
- Being Present with the congregation
- Being Personal with the campus staff
- Being a Participant with the Campus Pastor
Pastoral or Care Team Staff Member
- Contribute toward the improvement of the campus ministry as a whole
- Provide care to attendees or walk-ins in spiritual or physical crisis
- May be asked to particpate in/lead/oversee the following as assigned:
- Training and other events
- Serve communion and aid in baptism
- Research and writing on issues relevant to the church
- Membership Interviews
- Weddings and funerals
Who we're looking for: Lifeline is seeking someone to create a fun, high-energy, and engaging environment for students, yet can balance that with spiritual maturity, depth, and leadership. You may be a good candidate for this position if you like having fun and you strike a perfect balance between relating to the world of students and being an adult. You enjoy playing games, joking around, and having a good laugh and you know how to do these things in a way that resonates with students and points them towards Christ. Beyond that, we're looking for someone who is:
- Highly relational, able to build strong relationships with volunteers, students, and parents
- An inspiring leader who can recruit, develop, and build a team of student ministry volunteers
- An engaging public speaker, both on-stage and off-stage in small and large group settings
- Able to teach Biblical truth in a way that is understandable and meaningful to students
- Experienced leading and growing healthy student small groups
- Creative with a knack for brainstorming new and innovative ideas for student programming
- Available to work when Lifeline is scheduled including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays
To be considered for the position, applicants should have 3 years of work or volunteer experience in student ministry. A Bachelor's degree is required and seminary pursuit or equivalent Biblical training are preferred. Finally, we're looking for someone who is eagerly committed to Christ and exhibits a thriving relationship with him. Membership at Ada Bible Church is not a prerequisite for hire, but applicants should be willing to become a member within 90-days of hire and have beliefs consistent with Ada Bible Church's statement of faith.
