Job Summary
This position will assist the Sustainability & Parking Coordinator with the monitoring of parking lots, enforcement of parking procedures, and implementation of sustainability initiatives across two campuses.
Responsibilities
Provide premier customer service as the first-line representative of Parking Services in the field. Patrol assigned lots and structures. Issue parking citations as needed with handheld electronic ticket writers and license plate recognition software. Direct the public in the proper use of parking spaces, providing accurate information and offering solutions to problems as they arise. Perform various sustainability projects. Exercise independent and sound judgment and take initiative in applying work methods to correct hazardous conditions. Aid motorists at the request of university officials. Post signs and place barricades to regulate and reserve parking for special situations and events. Aid in traffic control for events on and off campus during the week and on weekends. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Possession of a valid driver's license. Must meet the University's Safety Driving standards. Must be able to pass golf cart and vehicle driving tests. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. This job requires individuals to be outside in various weather conditions. Some nights and weekends may be required, but we are willing to work with class schedules.

Conditions of Employment
The position is open to all students enrolled in at least six credit hours for the Spring 2025 semester. Students with a grade point average of 2.5 and above are preferred. Students who have received a Federal Work-Study Program (FWSP) award are encouraged to apply but receipt of an FWSP financial aid package is not required to qualify for this position. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
