Create and implement social media content and marketing strategies to serve Northwestern Media's network of radio stations.
* Create and schedule compelling, visually appealing social media posts for our network of radio stations, following brand style guidelines.
* Implement strategies to increase follower count and engagement on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, working alongside stations to meet social media goals.
* Assemble social media analytics and track success of campaigns and initiatives.
* Collaborate with the Digital Media Strategist and listener engagement employees to develop and execute new social media promotion strategies.
* Write occasional content for station websites and email newsletters.
* Research, maintain, and test platforms and apps as needed.
* Attend local station events or concerts to take photos and record livestreams or video content.
* Adhere to all brand standards, style guides, and best practices.
* Complete any additional tasks related to digital media.
* Be familiar with and work within the parameters of all FERPA regulations.
* Abide by all university policies.
Wage: $14 per hour
STUDENT POSITIONS FOR SUMMER 2024 ARE OPEN TO STUDENTS ENROLLED FOR FALL 2024 (MIN OF 1 ON-CAMPUS TRAD OR PSOC COURSE) OR TO UNW STUDENTS WHO GRADUATED IN MAY 2024.

Required Qualifications
* Current Communication, Marketing, or Business major in good standing
* Experience with social media platforms including emerging apps
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, courteous and tactful manner
* Excellent written communication skills; high attention to detail with ability to create, proof, and edit text accurately
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently without close supervision
* Ability to manage, prioritize, and complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
* Intermediate computer proficiency
* Familiarity with popular web content management systems and service desk apps
