Working with federal managers, CEPL offers a standardized program that prepares leaders to step into senior executive positions, as well as customizedprograms to help address specific training needs for a variety of mid-level and executive level positions. In addition, CEPL partners with local and regional governments to offer Certified Public Manager programs that focus on skill development in areas such as leadership, communication, teamwork, and project management. Position Specific Summary The Program Coordinator serves an integral role within the office providing overall customer service managementand program delivery support for PEMM, REDP, Federal and Open Enrollment programs. They will help organize and schedule several programsmonthly as well as provide Program Coordination support and logistical onsite support during program face-to-face sessions (Virtually and In-Person). These sessions require mandatory attendance on Thursdays - Saturdays, twice a month. Locations include: DC Agencies, GW campus - including Virginia Campuses. These duties include maintaining lines of communication betweenfaculty, instructors, and community partners, preparing all program materials (printing training material packets for up to 30 participants) as requested by the instructor or faculty,supporting participants with their final projects, gathering program evaluation summaries, and utilizing feedback to improveupon programs. This position requires a mature individual who will represent the Center in a positive light within the program, to its stakeholders and partners. This position will work closely with external partners in the Metropolitan Washington Region including DC Municipalities and Federal Agencies. This position will report to the Associate Director and the Executive Director of the Center for Excellence in Public Leadership.Standard Position Description The student will assist in the management and leading of special projects. Tasks may include: leading and organizing mid to large scale projects, designing project timelines and goals, performing research, coordinating with stakeholders and the project team, reporting updates and outcomes with project leaders, building and organizing leadership development programs for students, managing student staff.
