STUDENT REGISTRATION & RECORDS TECHNICIAN (FULL-TIME, TEMPORARY)Posting Number: S984Department: RegistrarPosition Type: Non-ExemptEmployment Status: Full-Time-StaffSalary: $15.89 - $24.62Open Date: 10/21/2024Close Date: 11/20/2024Job Description Summary:This position is under the direction of the Registrar and is responsible for performing academic, continuing education and contract education records functions, course registrations, state reporting data entry, end-of-term processes, and other related duties. Works closely with academic deans, faculty chairs and continuing education staff to provide registration and student records services and support.Minimum Qualifications:Associate's degree AND three (3) years related work experience to include computer based data entry and customer service.- OR -Five (5) years related work experience to include computer based data entry and customer service.Preferred Qualifications:Three (3) years experience in post-secondary education with student records, credit or continuing education courses, computer based data entry, and customer service.Experience evaluating and articulating transfer courses/credits.Experience with international students/SEVIS Experience with Texas CBM reporting.Special Instructions to Applicants:This is a security-sensitive position.
