Summary

* Job Summary

* The student scheduling supervisor will have an expert understanding of the student scheduling process and organizational needs related to workforce development. This individual will have the ability to analyze and understand the needs of the organization along with a solid understanding of the organizational strategic plan.

The student scheduling supervisor will guide and lead the entire student scheduling team to facilitate frictionless student placement to meet the strategic needs of the organization. The supervisor will oversee the student scheduling process, including communication, planning, analysis, and collaboration with multiple health care related educational programs and CoxHealth departments. This individual will collaborate and build relationships with participating program leaders within the community to grow coordination of student opportunities at CoxHealth.

The student scheduling supervisor will assist the team to determine prioritization and optimization of student placement to continue to grow opportunities. This individual will also provide evaluation of overall department effectiveness and efficiency, data collection and reporting as well as utilization of this information to develop quality improvement action plans. The student scheduling supervisor must display professionalism, independence, initiative, leadership, and strong communication skills.

* Education

* Required: Bachelor's Degree or 8 years' experience

* Experience

* Preferred: Previous project management experience strongly preferred

* Skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams

* Able to think analytically and creatively

* Proficient Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel

* Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills

* Ability to write effective documentation on processes and procedures

* Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures

* Effective leadership skills

* Licensure/Certification/Registration
