Shenandoah University's Department of School of Business is accepting applications for a Student Services Coordinator. This is a full-time benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia.Position Overview:To coordinate, under the supervision of the Dean and Associate Dean, student services for both undergraduate and graduate students within the School of Business at Shenandoah University. This position requires the hired person to be physically present to work at our Winchester main campus.Job Responsibilities:Managing the experiential learning fund usage and maintaining records of student useMaintaining select student files assigned to them for both graduate and undergraduate studentsEvaluation of transcripts for purposes of transfer business school credit for undergraduate studentsAssist in reviewing graduate applicationsAssist in preparation of semester class schedulesAnswer inquiries from prospective students both at the graduate and undergraduate levelParticipate on committees as assigned by the Dean and/or Associate DeanAssist in the clearing of students for graduationAssist with registration of students, course schedule adjustments, and other issues as neededAdvise graduate students for purposes of course planningProvide support to faculty members as needed and directed by supervisorsPerform other functions as assigned by the Dean and/or Associate DeanRequired Skills:Bachelor's Degree requiredMust have knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)Must be able to work well under pressureMust be able to multi-taskMust have excellent customer service skillsMust have effective oral and written communication skillsMust have an eye for detailMust be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software as well as Google apps and emerging office technologiesMust be flexible and willing to work occasional evenings and/or weekendsMust be able to work effectively on a teamExperience in an educational environment preferred but not requiredHow to Apply:The complete application will include a cover letter, resume, and contact information for three professional references.
