Position Type: Student Support Services/ParaprofessionalDate Posted: 9/10/2024Location: Syring ElementaryClosing Date: Until Filled District: Swartz Creek Community School District - website 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR NON-UNION POSITIONS through EDUStaff Position: Student Support Professional at Syring Elementary Hours/Shift: 29.75 hrs/week Qualifications: Must have a degree OR 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR have taken or will take and pass the ETS Parapro test before being hired. Job Functions: The SSP will be the primary support for students in grades K-2 setting during the intervention block periods each day. While teachers will be working on high-need interventions during this time, the SSP will be working with students on additional enrichment and academic support opportunities. Additionally, the SSP will assist teachers and school staff with the implementation of behavior intervention plans.
