Student Intermediate Level Requisition ID req31549 Working Title Student Support Technician Pay $14.00 - $16.50 Hourly Campus Main - Albuquerque, NM Department IT Academic Technologies (321A) Employment Type Student Employment Student Type Student Employment Status Non-Exempt Background Check Required No For Best Consideration Date 11/20/2024 Position Summary Job Summary: The Student SupportTechnician provides tier 1 customer support for one or more of the followingapplications: Opinio, Course Evaluations, and Qualtrics. Support is provided byphone or email with assistance from a Technical Analyst II. The student supporttechnician will also create documentation, update web-pages, communicatetechnical details to customers, assist with projects, software testing, andwill work alongside a team of 2-3 other support personnel. Position is hybrid,with mostly off-site work, though some in-office commitments are expected.Office hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend oroff-hours work is required. Applicants are expected to be able to work the full28 hours available for student staff. Duties andresponsibilities include: 1. Reviewtechnical documentation to support Course Feedback, Esurvey, and/or TestScoring faculty and students. 2. Workthrough email or phone with faculty, staff and students using our services. 3. Providereliable and accurate technical support for students, faculty, departmentchairs and administrators. 4. Learn andwork with UNM's Qualtrics, EvaluationKIT, Esurvey Opinio, and/or Scantronapplications. 5. Helptroubleshoot and resolve technical issues from these four services. 6. Supportsthe administration of campus-wide elections. Minimum Qualifications Equivalencies not found for this position Preferred Qualifications Enrolled in a degreeseeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM forfall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study,you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress. Minimum Skillsinclude: 1.Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 2.Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. 3.Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. 4.Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented. 5.Able to problem solve within web applications and other informationtechnologies. 6.Flexible and able to adapt to occasional changes inassignments and priorities.
