San Bernardino Community College District accepts applications for Student Worker, hourly positions for Crafton Hills College) on a continuous basis. Student Worker will work in the Health and Wellness Center
* Student worker will assist with front desk traffic, answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing, preparing flyers and educational handouts, light cleaning of clinic areas and equipment, pick up mail and deliver items to other departments, help clinic staff with copying and other misc. tasks, help with inventory, keep frequently used forms copied and in stock, help with promotion and implementation of health education events. These jobs will require live scan because of their confidential nature.
* Ability and aptitude to use computer applications is important for scheduling and preparation of educational materials. Creativity is also very helpful. A cheerful friendly attitude and willingness to help is a must since customer service for both internal and external customers is the core of this position.
Minimum Requirements:
* Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units
* Successfully pass a live scan screening prior to employment
* Must complete a TB test at time of employment.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents; and to operate assigned equipment.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
The person selected for hire will be required to complete the following pre-employment requirements:
* Submit to and successfully pass DOJ live scan/fingerprinting. Cost of live-scan services to be borne by candidate.
* Sealed official transcript(s) in envelope from institution or electronic copies emailed directly from institution (for positions with higher education requirement)
* Tuberculosis (TB) risk assessment
* Other pre-employment requirements may be required depending on the position (i.e. certifications or licenses; see job posting qualifications section for details).
Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements is mandatory to be eligible for employment. These requirements are in accordance with the San Bernardino Community College District's Administrative Procedures and Board Policies.
