Meehan, PhD.Title: ProfessorPurpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities): Oversee supervision and tracking of the patients' confidential files and records. Ensure that all patient records are kept up to date and available for review.Duties and Principal Responsibilities:Monitor intake, therapy and testing assignments based on clinical assessment and need.Oversee and supervise the research protocol at PSC. Assist faculty and students in implementing research initiatives and extramural funding applicationsAssistants supervise the incoming therapists' confidential files as well as the continuing therapists' confidential files. Coordinate and maintain responsibility for outreach activities.Monitor and care for the testing equipment in the Clinic, requiring specific knowledge of psychological assessment procedures, forms, scoring, etc.All clinic assistants participate in 40 hours of onboarding and training of incoming therapists at the beginning of the academic yearEducation Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree programTraining, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:Rate of Pay: minimum hourly ratePeriod of employment: Begin Date: 9/4/2024 End Date: 5/13/2025Evaluation procedures and schedules: REQUIREMENTS: MA degree in clinical psychology or equivalent; We will evaluate individuals enrolled in doctoral study in clinical psychology and an advanced candidateLIU is an equal opportunity employer.
