Job Description:
Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Finance Class Tutor to support undergraduate students within the School of Business. The tutor will work closely with finance professors to address specific needs of finance classes, including providing guidance for homework assignments, conducting review sessions for quizzes and exams, and attending classes when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance concepts and a passion for helping students succeed academically.Responsibilities:* Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions for students in fundamental finance courses.* Assist students with understanding and completing finance homework assignments.* Conduct review sessions to prepare students for quizzes and exams, ensuring they understand key concepts and problem-solving techniques.* Collaborate with finance professors to identify areas where students need additional support.* Attend finance classes when required to better understand course content and student needs.* Develop and maintain tutoring materials and resources tailored to the finance curriculum.* Track and report on student progress and areas of improvement.* Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of students and professors.* Participate in training and professional development opportunities as needed.Qualifications:* Current enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.* Complete at least FIN201 and FIN202 with B+ or above* Be familiar with the Bloomberg Terminals* Strong understanding of finance principles and concepts.* Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.* Strong organizational and time management skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Patient, approachable, and committed to student success.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume, a cover letter detailing their interest and qualifications, and any relevant academic transcripts to [email address].
