The Department of First Year Experience is seeking 2 student workers to serve as the first point of contact for students and families. Qualified applicants will have strong customer service skills, specifically excellent phone etiquette and verbal and written communication skills; be detail oriented and have a willingness to learn and adapt; have experience working in computer systems and Google. Suite; possess a willingness to take initiative and identify problems and create dynamic solutions. Job Duties and Responsibilities Run errands. Answer the phone. Respond to questions from students and families. Assist in the management of the SOAR registration database. Prep for SOAR sessions. Assist where needed during SOAR sessions.
