Position Title Student Worker: TEC-e Job Duties

Provides assistance and support related to customer inquiries such as department contact information, schedule and location of events, computer systems, software, audio-visual, wireless and instructional technologies. This position responds to a variety of inquiries requiring troubleshooting to determine appropriate solutions.

Required knowledge and skills:

* The ability to learn technology skills, customer service skills and maintain confidentiality.

* Must be able to display a professional appearance and work with the public.

Qualifications

The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes.

Qualifications

Required knowledge and skills

Good general knowledge of working with computers and MS office applications.

Required experience

Some experience working with computers and working with the public is preferred.

Required educational background

Must be enrolled in at least one credit hour at Butler Community College.
